About
Hellllooooo Friends!
I am a curious foodie who thinks that food is the greatest thing in the world. Not that ultra-processed stuff! I am talking about REAL, honest food and drink. The kind that your great grandparents would recognize. Sadly, we are more disconnected from our food and drink than ever before! Generational cooking skills and food traditions are slowly withering away, and many of us have no idea where our food is coming from. BUT we need to remember: Good food is an essential part of life that feeds the mind, body, and soul.
Whether our disconnect from food will continue to grow is up to us. Part of the solution is to start a conversation around real, honest food again. That is why I started the Year of Plenty Podcast. The mission of this show is to help you build appreciation and knowledge around honest food and drink, as well as the processes that bring it to our tables. The show will cover topics around real food, traditional foodways, and food sovereignty. I want this podcast to be a space where you can go to feed your foodie curiosity and find inspiration. That’s it!
Come join us by supporting the podcast! Let’s explore real food and drink together.
